Mirko Esser becomes new Director Finance at RenderThat

RenderThat appoints a Director Finance for the first time. With Mirko Esser, the up-and-coming Hamburg-based digital agency was able to recruit a top-class expert for the newly created position. Esser has many years of management experience and controlling expertise. He should set up the Finance department and decisively shape the transformation of the agency.

“Digital twins” — this concept of transferring physical products into the digital world is the core offering of RenderThat. Just a few weeks ago, the agency opened a location in New York City. In order to successfully drive internationalization and expansion forward, the position of Director Finance has now been advertised for the first time.

With the change from Mirko Esser Set renderThat to an exclamation mark. As Director Finance, Esser will contribute his many years of management experience at MHP — A Porsche Company and Accenture Strategy. Esser recently worked at MHP as Senior Manager Finance Performance & Strategy for two years. Prior to that, he spent five years as Strategy Manager driving the digital finance division at Accenture Strategy.

As Director Finance at RenderThat, the business graduate will now support the transformation from a digital agency to a tech company in the area of SaaS or CaaS (content-as-a-service). The focus is on both the internationalization and development of RenderThat Hub. The Hub is a platform that allows RenderThat customers to scale their visualized content flexibly and from anywhere. Mirko Esser should create the framework for improving controlling and supporting RenderThat with structured decision-making processes.
